My Approach to Helping

Thank you for considering me as you seek a therapist. I hope you find this information helpful. For nearly 20 years I have worked in some aspect of counseling, and for me, this has clearly been the best work of my life. My clients find relief for their depression, anxieties, stress/tension, adjustment concerns, behavior problems, and substance abuse issues. Witnessing these types of changes is very rewarding.
I am trained in Adlerian psychotherapy and I use a very direct, problem-solving approach to treatment. Therapy is about identifying problems, examining current ways of living, and seeking positive change. I will guide the assessment process, help you examine your options, provide a model for change, and support you as you move toward your goals.
It isn't always about not feeling well. Sometimes we want to strive toward further development and self improvement. Some will use the counseling process as a means of achieving their personal goals. Lastly, I offer personal-executive coaching, organizational development svcs, and forensic consulting. I welcome your inquires!
