What's My Approach to Therapy?
I work with adults who are dealing with anxiety, depression, stress, and trauma.
I have been trained in and use evidence-based therapies for posttraumatic stress (PTSD), which include prolonged exposure, eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), and cognitive processing therapy (CPT), and have over fifteen years of experience working with veterans who are dealing with combat trauma and/or military sexual trauma.
My post-graduate training includes a one-year fellowship at Yale-New Haven Psychiatric Hospital and Intensive Outpatient Program, and an advanced psychodynamic clinical practice fellowship at the University of Chicago. As a former practicing attorney, I am able to help individuals deal with workplace stress and make life choices compatible with their values.
