My Approach to Helping

I provide intelligent, friendly, and effective psychotherapy services in a relaxing, safe environment. I am a trained Imago Relationship Therapist. Issues ranging from crisis intervention, addiction, and mood disorders to sexuality issues, child/adolescent problems, and adjustment issues among high-functioning professionals are within my realm of expertise. I have a Master's Degree (MA) in Counseling Psychology and specialist degrees (Ed.S.) in couples and Family Therapy as well as Substance Abuse and Recovery. My therapeutic style is collaborative and my goal is optimum emotional relief, progress, and healing. Diversity is valued and respected. I help clients to understand and alleviate psychological pain by providing a safe, non-judgmental, environment for them to process their life experience. I believe that pain is growth trying to happen. Good therapy should be an empowering experience. In strive to reduce the fear and anxiety often associated with seeking therapeutic services.
