My Approach to Helping
I'm dedicated to supporting clients who struggle with chronic depression, anxiety, relational issues, and existential crises by inviting them to look inwardly and incorporate their growing insight into daily life’s challenges. I believe the process of self-discovery is the realest gift of life, the path leading to our internal peace and freedom. My passion is to support you in becoming you, in this world we all live in - as your self, and as part of something greater.
My therapeutic approach is eclectic, integrating various theoretical and philosophical foundations. I provide psychodynamic-oriented, existentialism-inspired, and process-focused therapy for those seeking expansions in their human capacity and spiritual growth.
Prior to becoming a psychotherapist, I had intensive experience as a tutor, coach, and academic counselor, supporting people in their educational and fitness goals. I work with individuals of all cultures, beliefs, and self-identities. Areas of my practice include anxiety, depression, sense of self, intimate relationships, post-traumatic stress, and life transitions (transitional-age youth population, cultural adaptation, etc). I provide services in English andor Mandarin Chinese; I also speak some Spanish.
