My Approach to Helping
I help people to break out of patterns from the past, work through painful emotional experiences, find clarity, and create meaningful change in their lives. Issues I work with include anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, self-esteem issues, insomnia, anger and stress management, trauma, childhood adversities, grief & loss, and many other life challenges. I also often work with people who are seeking greater meaning in their lives or who have an interest in some form of spirituality. Our work will empower you to grow, understand yourself more deeply, and live a more fulfilling and resilient life.
I offer a space in which you will be accepted as you are and where all parts of you are welcome. My relational style is warm, engaged, and grounded. I draw upon somatic and attachment-based trauma therapy approaches, as well as Internal Family Systems (parts work) and Jungian perspectives. I believe you are the expert on your life and I offer personalized therapy that is respectful, flexible, and tuned in to your needs.
Engaging in therapy is a powerful opportunity to bring awareness to the parts of you that have remained unexamined or that have not been safe to process in your everyday life. I will work with you to bring release to the places you feel stuck, tend to the wounds you carry, and move toward a more connected, intentional, and meaningful life.
