My Approach to Helping
I believe that all have the ability to heal. Whether that be from from complex trauma, negative thought patterns, dysfunctional relationships, or anything else that life throws your way. Therapy is a helpful place to start this work. I work with adolescents to older adults in individual therapy, couples therapy, and family therapy. I work with people who have anxiety, depression, ADHD, personality disorders, which is rooted in trauma, eating disorders, and PTSD. I have trained in many different settings and have worked with a diverse patient population. From community mental health centers to college counseling to large hospitals, I have had an abundance of experience working patients across the lifespan.
My goal as a therapist is to help you get to a place where you trust your inner voice and find a deeper and more peaceful sense of self. I work from an integrative perspective but my care is always person centered and culturally sensitive. I use the following modalities and tailor each treatment to the client: IFSparts-work, psychodynamic, CBT, interpersonal psychotherapy, Emotion Focused Couples therapy, and mindfulness. I am currently training in Ketamine Assisted Therapy and EMDR.
