My Approach to Helping
My approach to therapy is holistic and client centered. Whether through traditional psychotherapy or through yoga infused psychotherapy, my goal is to create a safe space to begin working on repairing the disconnect between mind and body caused by trauma, grief, depression andor anxiety. The connection between a therapist and client is one of the most critical factors for growth and recovery. I meet my clients where they are and work collaboratively with them, at their pace, to make them feel safe and supported. There is no “One Size Fits All” therapy. I tailor my sessions to my client’s needs using a variety of therapeutic interventions in my sessions, always trauma-informed and client-centered. I want to empower my clients to use their voices and to know that they are heard. Ultimately, the client is in control of their journey to recovery.
