My Approach to Helping
Ta’Jhaneya Hines is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate (LCSW-A) in the state of North Carolina. She has over 4 years of experience working in diverse settings within community mental health. She has experience with all age populations and specializes in treating and addressing the symptoms of anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, poor coping skills, family conflict, life transitional issues, and mood-related disorders. Ta’Jhaneya obtained her Bachelor's degree in Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She went on to earn her Master's degree in Social Work from North Carolina State University. She works with clients to improve mood and quality of life/decrease daily life stressors through motivational interviewing (MI) and cognitive behavioral approaches (CBT) to explore the interests of clients and guide them through stressors that may arise.Ta’Jhaneyalikes to build on the interests of the individuals she is working with and focuses on creating a positive atmosphere for individuals and families. Ta’Jhaneya has experience engaging with families, whose goals are to improve areas of family dynamics. Ta’Jhaneya seeks to create a non-judgmental and safe space for you to process your emotions and build skills to help move toward your therapeutic goals. She aims for individuals to be comfortable while exploring self-awareness and reflection. Ta’Jhaneya enjoys helping individuals find their strengths, regardless of circumstances they may be occurring.
