Stewart Middleton II, PhD is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, National Certified Counselor and Board-Certified Tele-mental Health Service Provider in the state of North Carolina with 3 years of intern experience and 2 years of professional experience in rehabilitation services, substance abuse counseling, and other DSM-5-related mental disorders. He provides psychological assessment and therapeutic care to adults and couples seeking help with finding purpose in life, emotional regulation, clear interpersonal communication, and healing from past trauma. He completed his Master of Science in Clinical Psychology from AAMU and received his Ph.D. in Rehabilitation Counseling & Counselor Education from NCAT. Stewart provides multiple treatment approaches, such as existential therapy, and dialectical. Behavioral therapy (DBT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, emotion-focused therapy (EFT), relational-cultural therapy (RCT), and trauma-focused cognitive-behavioral therapy (TF-CBT). He strives to establish a warm and compassionate relationship.
