My Approach to Helping
Finding a therapist is a personal choice. I offer a FREE 30 minute consultation to all new clients to give them the opportunity to meet me before making that decision. My passion is helping adolescents, adults, and couples struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and problems adjusting to unexpected life challenges. Often we get off course from achieving our goals when stumbling blocks get in the way. These detours are emotionally draining and can cause problems with relationships, careers, and the ability to achieve happiness. It can lead to feeling overwhelmed, difficulty concentrating, disrupted sleep patterns, and a sense of loneliness. My role as a therapist is to assist you in getting back on track so that you can achieve your goals and live a more meaningful and fulfilling life.
My treatment focus is Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), a scientifically proven treatment found to be highly effective in treating symptoms of anxiety, depression, behavior problems, relationship difficulties and many other issues. CBT has been shown to require a shorter time in therapy than many other treatments for children, adults, and couples.
My focus is centered around CBT, but I tailor each session around the needs of my clients. Together we will collaborate to find the best treatment for you.
