What's My Approach to Therapy?
I am an empathetic psychiatric and mental health nurse practitioner. I graduated from Walden University. I care for people across the life span, including children from 6 years old to older adults. I specialize in caring for people with depression, anxiety, bipolar condition, attention-deficit hyperactivity (ADHD), and substance use condition. My approach to care is evidence-based. I combine talk therapy with medication management for the best results. In my first encounter with each person, I always strive to establish a therapeutic relationship with them. This therapeutic relationship helps every person to be an active participant in their healing journey. At the end of every session, my clients feel and know that they are heard and cared for.
