My Approach to Helping
Seeking out therapy can be an extremely vulnerable choice to make. Steph Kiehl believes clients are the experts of their own experience. Using a person-centered approach, she creates a safe, welcoming, and warm environment where her clients feel comfortable sharing without fear of judgment. Steph believes we all have an innate ability to become the best version of ourselves – sometimes, we just need a little help along the way.
Steph Kiehl has a Master of Social Work Degree with a clinical concentration and a Bachelor of Social Work Degree, both from Virginia Commonwealth University. She utilizes Person-Centered Therapy, Strengths-Based Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Empowerment Theory. Steph has worked with many diverse populations and takes pride in her ability to connect and adapt her therapeutic style for clients from all walks of life.
When not working with clients, Steph enjoys an active lifestyle, spending time with friends and family, and participates in a wide array of interests ranging from being an enthusiast for live music, exercising, and always looking for her next favorite restaurant.
