I have worked extensively with adults and have a good understanding of childhood issues.I also do couples work focusing on improving communication which fosters real intimacy. I work with individuals and families from an interpersonal approach with a focus on emotions.I believe that all people have resources to solve problems.I am easy to talk to and I have great listening skills. I have worked many years with adolescents in public education. I have had great success with them because I understand what it is like being an adolescent today. I also have an extensive background in substance abuse.

I am a licensed professional counselor offering individualized services including consultation, skill development, problem solving, and individual therapy. I do substance abuse evaluations with recommendations if requested.I have 20 years working with adolescents and adults. I have expertise in substance abuse, grief issues, and gender identity. Many insurances I will accept as payment if needed.
