My Approach to Helping
Sindy Castro is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Florida and New York with 11 years of experience in the behavioral health field. She has worked with adults, adolescents, and their families on addressing various life themes. She recognizes many dynamics and influences can lead to emotional hardship. She strives to help clients achieve growth and lead them to the best versions of themselves. She strives to provide culturally competent care and ensures that your values are always worthy of consciousness. Sindy specializes in depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, grief, addiction, stress, and self-esteem. Sindy completed her MSW at Hunter College and B.S Human Services at St. John's University. She utilizes primarily an eclectic approach and a person-centered approach. She will encourage clients to make requests for specific modalities such as CBT, mindfulness, DBT, attachment-based therapy, faith-based, and internal family systems therapy. Sindy is ready to provide you with equipment not only to help you cope but to live life to your fullest potential and to your true spirit.
