My Approach to Helping
Have you faced struggles with depression and anxiety possibly due to illness, family conflict, loss, work or relationship issues? Has it been difficult for you to cope with and overcome these emotions on your own? If so, you’re not alone. We all need support from time to time, yet many of us may not feel comfortable asking for help or sharing intimate details with friends or family--- that's where I'd like to provide insight and support. Within my practice, you will find a safe & nonjudgmental environment where we can explore these obstacles together, help you heal from your pain, and move forward to where you want to be in life.
My background includes working in corporate Human Resources for over 7 years where I assisted & advised employees on professional and career related matters. For the past 10 years, I have provided counseling to clients from all walks of life and have gained experience in both the school & medical field settings. I have extensive experience helping clients in the following areas, but not limited to, anxiety, depression, dating & relationship issues, grief, low self-esteem, family conflict, addiction, bipolar disorder, anger management, career and school issues. I especially enjoy working with adults regarding dating relationship issues and find this work to be very rewarding.
