My Approach to Helping

Healing is a journey that should be nurturing, safe, and empowering. Oftentimes, you may feel helpless, hopeless, and stuck in a place that you cannot escape from. With all the unmanageable emotions, fears, and thoughts that play in your mind over and over, it may seem as though there is no end and no relief. Therapy will allow you to navigate, understand and provide clarity that leads to peace of mind and optimal living.
I believe in a client-centered, partnership, and holistic approach to healing, utilizing and maximizing your own strengths, and using that to attain treatment goals. I specialize in children, youth, individual, family, and couples therapy. Working together as a team, we will focus on you the client, in healing the mind, body, and soul.

Asking for help is not easy. However, I\'m glad you are here! It takes courage, vulnerability, and strength; all needed for a successful therapeutic journey. Book a connection session today! During this call, we will get to know each other and figure out if we are a good fit before moving forward. Let\'s take this healing journey together.

Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With

My personal struggles have made me a better therapist by developing my empathy, non-judgmental attitude, and providing me with a unique perspective that I share with my clients. I bring these experiences and insights into my work, with the hope of helping others achieve their own personal growth and healing.

What I Say to People Concerned about the Therapy Process

I understand that therapy can be an intimidating process, but I want to assure you that we will work together to find the right approach and techniques that work for you.

Therapy is a collaborative process, so you will always be in control of the pace and direction of your therapy. Your therapist is there to support you and offer guidance, but ultimately the decisions about what we discuss in sessions and what goals we set are yours to make. It's also important to remember that confidentiality is a top priority in therapy, and anything you share with your therapist will be kept private within the limits of the law.

Lastly, if you ever have any questions or concerns about the therapy process, your therapist is there to listen and address them. Everyone's therapy journey is unique, and it's okay to have mixed feelings about it. But with an open mind and a willingness to engage in the process, therapy can be a transformative experience that can help you live a happier, healthier life.

Why Going to Therapy Does Not Mean You are Weak or Flawed

Therapy is a sign of strength and self-awareness, not weakness or flaws. Seeking help shows that you value yourself and prioritize your mental health. Therapists offer a non-judgmental, confidential space to explore your thoughts and feelings, gain new coping skills, and work through difficult emotions. Therapy is a proactive step towards achieving a happier, healthier life.
