My Approach to Helping
Whether it is: feeling sad and unable to figure out why, constantly worrying about what will happen next, feeling the societal pressures regarding your body or career, experiencing conflict in your relationship(s), feeling overwhelmed by a traumatic past, or dealing with work-related stress; I can work with you to help you deal with the different pressures and stressors in your life. My experience of leading grief support groups coupled with my experience at a cancer hospital where I supported individuals and families experiencing terminal illness, provided me with an understanding and connectedness to the process of grief and loss.
I have facilitated grief support groups which has provided me with an in-depth knowledge of grief and the skills that can help individuals find meaning once again after a loss. My focus puts you first and builds a strong therapeutic relationship between us through respect, empathy, authenticity, and unconditional positive regard. This provides a solid ground for the therapeutic work where we will work together, in a warm and safe environment, to reach your acceptable level of satisfaction and comfort, at a pace of your convenience.
You can totally do this, and I can help you. I am ready when you are!
