My Approach to Helping
I am a licensed psychotherapist with over 15 years of experience working with people of all ages in a variety of clinical mental health settings. I work with children, adults, couples, and families. I provide psychotherapy to help people grow in their understanding of themselves and others, in how they experience and work with their feelings, in developing and maintaining healthy and satisfying interpersonal relationships, and in helping them assess and recognize their choices. A safe environment makes it easier to talk about difficult things and I strive to create a therapy space that is comfortable and inviting. My style is to be accessible, authentic, non-judgmental, insightful, and compassionate. I focus on building upon your strengths to effect positive change.

Important Factors for Choosing a Therapist
Whether you're a seasoned veteran of psychotherapy, someone looking to start therapy for the first time, or somewhere in-between, finding the right therapist can feel quite overwhelming. You are likely looking for a therapist who feels like a good fit, which is very important, as the relationship between therapist and client is an essential element for a successful journey in therapy. I understand it can be difficult to choose a therapist by reading a page or two on a website so please feel free to call me so that we can talk further. I will do my best to address any concerns and answer any questions that will help determine if we should meet for a consultation.
