My Approach to Helping
I love being a therapist and helping people find their own strengths to develop their most optimal life. My goal is to provide a safe and supportive environment and tailor therapy to each person's needs, personality and goals. While my approach is customized for each person, the theories I draw most heavily from Family Systems Theory, Humanistic, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Cognitive/Behavioral therapy approaches.

How My Own Struggles Made Me a Better Therapist
Growing up, I was lucky enough to be introduced to therapy when the adults in my life were unable to make healthy choices for my siblings and I. I found my way through the teen years and into a successful adulthood with the skills and insight I learned through therapy. My personal experience with counseling inspired me to become a therapist and I feel privileged to empower and help others achieve their goals!
