My Approach to Helping
My goal is to help families build their own resiliency through solution-focused therapy, psychoeducation, and therapeutic partnership.
When working with families, children or individuals, I interweave concepts from family systems therapy, which looks at the family as an interconnected unit, cognitive behavioral and solution-focused concepts, and an overall neuroscience orientation. I strongly believe that we have the power to retrain our brains to focus on hope and reduce stress and the physical and emotional symptoms that come along with chronic or acute stress and trauma. Through proven brain-based and mindfulness concepts, I aim to help clients through major life events and long-term stress.
