What's My Approach to Therapy?
You may be feeling a great sense of disconnectedness, maybe from your partner, your body, or even yourself. You may have tried countless attempts to fix this sense of disconnection but find yourself caught in the same loop over and over again. Deeply, you know there needs to be change, but you may find yourself struggling with where to begin.
As your therapist, I will create a space that feels safe, welcoming, and authentic. My role is to help guide you through the processes of relational work. Whether that is your relationship to yourself or to your partner(s), my goal is to help establish authentic connections in all your relationships. Therapy is a place where you can show up fully as yourself, messy and imperfect, and know that that is enough. I employ a mixture of emotionally focused and narrative approaches, where we will focus on your story as well as the feelings behind it. I believe fully in the transformative power of pleasure and love. We deserve to be fully seen without judgment. Together we can slow down the moments that feel like they may overtake you and make sense of the deeper meaning underneath. Moving you closer to the type of relationships that you deserve.
