My Approach to Helping
As a clinician, my goal is to provide a client-centered approach in order to identify the individual barriers and changes needed to have a fulfilling and meaningful life.
Rhonda Hardin Blackburn is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) and Qualified Supervisor with 13 years of experience in the mental health field. Rhonda is passionate about helping adolescents, adults, and couples address the unique challenges and barriers to successful living. She specializes in anxiety, family relational issues, trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), self esteem, and major life transitions. Rhonda completed her Master of Arts (MA) in Counseling at the University of North Alabama. She is a former educator with both a Master of Science (MS) in Educational Leadership and Supervision as well as a Master of Arts (MA) in Early Childhood Education from NC A&T State University. This experience in education working with both adolescents and adults provides Rhonda with a broader knowledge of barriers and problems that can contribute to struggles with coping and overall successful functioning. We all experience challenges and roadblocks in our life. Rhonda is confident and so passionate about her work as a clinician that she will strive to develop a trusting relationship in order to create positive change.
