My Approach to Helping

I view respect, curiosity, and compassion as the pillars to reconnecting with one’s sense of self through exploration of emotional, relational, and physiological distress. Each of us is made up of many different parts, all of which exist for a reason. By bringing awareness and understanding to wounded and struggling parts of self, we can learn what they need to heal. My approach is client centred, trauma informed, and strengths based. My core values are being an ally and working from an anti-oppressive framework. Therapy will focus on developing strategies, exploring emotions, accessing inner resources, and implementing tools in support of healing, growth, and health.

More Info About My Practice

I believe strongly in the creation of a safe, compassionate therapeutic space to help clients access emotions and safely examine parts of self that are causing pain, challenges, and difficulty. Each of us is made up of many different parts, all of which exist for a reason. By bringing awareness and understanding to wounded and struggling parts of self, we can learn what they need to heal.

I am a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. I completed my MEd. in Counselling Psychology at the University of Toronto.
