My Approach to Helping

For some of us, our life-challenges can seem extraordinarily overwhelming at times. Maybe you are in need of a safe space to navigate the intersection of your life or identity. Maybe you or even someone close to you is suffering from addiction. Maybe you are faced with a major life transition and find yourself experiencing anxiety or depression. Perhaps you feel completely isolated, or in fear or doubt as you analyze how you fit in, or you feel as if there isn't a safe space to express yourself.

If any of these scenarios resonate with you, you are not alone, you need a safe space to fully express all aspects of who you are and what you're experiencing. With over 10 years of experience working with adult individuals facing these issues, I will help you to learn healthier coping strategies toward being your best and most authentic self. Together, we will explore your feelings, your circumstances, and your options. I will help you grow in your ability to cope with what is right in front of you, helping you to navigate your present while also empowering you to look forward to a brighter and healthier future.

Our sessions will be safe spaces, full of empathy and devoid of judgment - you can bring your true thoughts and feelings to our work together; opening the door to fully expressing yourself. Your decision to reach out and navigate your journey is is an important step toward healing and growth. It is brave and it is a thoughtful choice.

My desire is to empower folks who are often misunderstood or marginalized by society to learn how to fully embrace who they are and where they are headed, despite their mental health needs or concerns. I enjoy working with men, women, veterans, and LGBTQIA+ adults+18 navigating the intersection of their lives and identities in order to learn healthier coping skills.

I offer a free initial phone call to help you assess how I would interact with you should you decide to schedule an appointment with me. I encourage everyone to take their time and consider what is important to you, and what you’re looking to focus on and improve. You’re always welcome to send me an email with any questions you may have.
