My Approach to Helping
Hello and thank you for viewing my profile. My focus is my commitment to you and your well being, whether through short-term, solution-focused therapy or long-term, in-depth therapy. It is a team approach; a relationship. You will not feel alone. We will be a team.
My goal is to help you resolve life situations and issues that you identify as problematic and that inhibit your growth and ability to live a more satisfying life. We do this together, forming a close working relationship. I bring my personality to my work as I truly get to know you, understand you, and tailor my approach specifically for you. I am sincere, warm, supportive, easy to connect with, feel comfortable and safe with, and I will not judge you. I will guide and accompany you on your journey to make improvements, while providing you with the tools to accomplish more, long after your therapy with me.
I am sensitive to racial, ethnic, cultural, religious, gender and sexual orientation differences and welcome diversity. It will be an honor for me to know you on a such a deep level and to watch you grow.
While I do not subscribe to any one treatment modality, I tailor my approach to you and to your specific needs. My work is not a science, but rather an art, where I utilize my creativity in an eclectic, individualized treatment plan.

Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With
If you have had a negative therapy experience, that does not mean you cannot have a positive one. If you are apprehensive about trying therapy, that doesn't mean you should not try it. I always tell people when looking for a therapist they should trust their gut. Listen to your inner voice to tell you whether you feel comfortable and safe with your potential therapist and that there is a connection from which to build. My greatest pleasure in my work is the deep bond we will form and watching that bond make a true difference in the quality of your life.
