My Approach to Helping
We all have wounds and areas of difficulty and struggle. As a counselor, I'm honored to walk with individuals, couples, and families who need help overcoming these challenges. I enjoy working with a broad range of clients and a wide variety of issues. With all of my clients, I aim to build a strong, collaborative counseling relationship that promotes freedom, healing, and growth.
My approach to counseling is interpersonal and integrative. I aim to provide a tailored experience for every client to meet their particular needs and help them thrive.

What I Say to People Concerned about the Therapy Process
Talking to many counselors can be like talking to a robot: they ask questions, you answer; they repeat what you said, ask another question, and so on. Eventually, if you're lucky, they might even recommend a book, a medication, an app, or a fancy new (insert latest trend here). But what you won't get from many counselors is an impactful relationship with another human being who can actually relate, who knows what it's like to be a client, who won't waste your time or B.S. you.
I'm not saying I don't ask questions or don't recommend books; I'm saying I see people where others see problems, I value quality over quantity, and I believe relationships are more important than routines.
