My Approach to Helping
Much of my work focuses on mental and emotional safety, providing these things for my clients in therapy and teaching them how to create this for themselves. I apologize for the negative experience or experiences that led you to seek out trauma-informed therapy. I'm proud of you for taking this step for yourself. Ideally, I'd treat clients with a trauma history. Someone with a mixture of short and long term trauma. My ideal client is eager to learn and wants to find a way to become their own safe space. Someone who wants to learn how to set and maintain healthy boundaries, find out their triggers, and treat themselves with patience.
