My Approach to Helping
On this journey of life, we will face challenges big and small. Taking the first step to walk through your journey to healing can be difficult. Are you suffering from anxiety, depression, or obsessive thoughts? Struggling with controlling your emotions? Feeling overwhelmed and unable to cope with certain situations? Through an exploration of patterns of thoughts and behaviors, I can help you uncover a more authentic self; one free from the stuck feelings of repetitive, discouraging patterns, and one grounded in a more comfortable sense of being. My goal is to walk the path with you, hand in hand, and provide the support you need to get to the other side.
I offer encouragement, insight, and strategies to help individuals from diverse backgrounds and lifestyles find deeper life satisfaction. I utilize a variety of modalities but always work in a client-centered, whole-person approach encouraging clients to show up exactly as they are and focusing on the issues that matter most to them.
I pride myself on providing a warm, non-judgmental environment for clients to explore all aspects of themselves. I will make sure clients feel comfortable and heard. My job as your therapist is to invite you into each session and to work together, so you leave better than you arrived with more hope.
