My Approach to Helping
Mallory Parker is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist with 5 years of experience in outpatient therapy. Mallory takes a person-centered approach and ensures that children, adolescents, and adults feel valued, listened to, and are able to meet their unique goals. She specializes in anxiety, trauma, depression, substance use, and stress management. Mallory completed her Master of Social Work (MSW) at Baylor University. She has experience working in a variety of settings and communities. Mallory has a calming presence which allows her to assist others in coping with strong emotions and difficult topics. She utilizes a variety of therapeutic modalities including trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT), motivational interviewing, solution-focused therapy, and play therapy techniques. Navigating school, work, health, family, and all the other things on our plates can be difficult. Learning ways to cope and having an outlet to process can be vital.
