My Approach to Helping
Did you know that the vast majority of depression in America is not based on your genetics? How about the idea that having some amount of anxiety in your life is actually a good thing? Depression, stress, and anxiety often act as signs in our lives that we are in need of change, however big or small. I don't doubt that you have been considering change long before coming across my information and I congratulate you on taking another step towards that change. My approach typically involves looking at the space between you and the change you desire with humor (whenever possible), attentiveness, and warmth. Understanding your problem is important to me. However, I find that people tend to feel better faster when we spend more time with solutions, whether we are tweaking something you are already doing or creating a new solution altogether.
