My Approach to Therapy
Are you the one everyone depends on, yet secretly feel exhausted, overwhelmed, or resentful? Perhaps you struggle to say no, worry about disappointing others, or find yourself overthinking interactions long after they happen. Many of my clients are caring, high-achieving adults who have spent years prioritizing everyone else's needs while ignoring their own. I provide online therapy in NC and FL to help adults break free from people-pleasing, perfectionism, anxiety, and unhealthy relationship patterns so they can build confidence, healthy boundaries, and more fulfilling relationships.
I specialize in helping adults ages 23+ overcome anxiety, people-pleasing, perfectionism, relationship challenges, and struggles with self-esteem and self-confidence. Using CBT and Psychodynamic Therapy, we'll identify patterns that keep you stuck, develop healthier coping skills, and create meaningful, lasting change.
Therapy offers a space where you don't have to carry everything alone. I provide a warm, supportive environment to explore relationship concerns, stress, life transitions, and longstanding patterns. Together, we'll strengthen self-trust, establish healthier boundaries, and create a life that feels more balanced and authentic.
My Practice & Services
My current office hours are Monday through Thursday from 9 AM EST to 3 PM EST. I offer virtual sessions for clients in North Carolina and Florida. I can provide a superbill for clients using out-of-network benefits, which may support reimbursement. Please check with your insurance provider for details about your benefits.
If you are interested in connecting to set up a free consultation, email is best mode of contact. I am very responsive and I will contact you within 24 hours. A free consultation will be scheduled before our first session to discuss what you are looking for in a therapist and confirm that we both feel comfortable moving forward with an intake session.
During your first session, we will explore your current needs and work together to identify your main goals for therapy. We will discuss the challenges you’re facing and collaborate on a plan to address them in a way that feels manageable and meaningful for you. Many clients begin to notice gradual relief from symptoms within the first few weeks, with continued progress over time, though each person’s journey is unique.
On the Fence About Going to Therapy?
The thought of starting therapy can bring up overwhelming feelings. Even as a therapist, when I sought support, fears immediately came to mind: Will I be judged? Will I feel truly supported by someone I don't know? These types of thoughts are very common. One thing that helped me was shifting my focus to what I wanted and needed from therapy, rather than worrying about how I would be received. I met with therapists who offered free consultations so I could explore my needs and determine the best fit. You deserve to be seen and heard, and I am here to support you on your journey.
