What's My Approach to Therapy?

My treatment approach is collaborative and person-centered, shaped in part by my own experience after losing my parents at a young age. This personal journey inspired me to dedicate my career to helping others navigate life’s challenges with compassion and resilience.

I integrate evidence-based practices, such as cognitive-behavioral strategies and mindfulness techniques, with a supportive therapeutic relationship to meet each client where they are. By focusing on strengths and lived experiences, I strive to create a safe, validating space where clients feel empowered to heal, grow, and move forward with confidence.

My Practice & Services

I started WayneWay Counseling to create a supportive space where people can slow down and focus on their mental health in today’s fast-paced world. Inspired by my own journey through loss and the importance of healing, I wanted to build a practice that meets clients with compassion, understanding, and practical strategies for growth. WayneWay Counseling reflects my commitment to helping others navigate life’s challenges and find a path forward that feels authentic and sustainable

What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist

I love being a therapist because I get to witness the courage and resilience people show as they face life?s challenges. There?s nothing more rewarding than helping someone gain clarity, find their strengths, and take steps toward meaningful change. Being part of that journey, even in a small way, is inspiring and humbling. Every session is an opportunity to support growth, foster self-understanding, and empower clients to lead lives that feel authentic and fulfilling

My Role as a Therapist

As a therapist, my role is to walk alongside you?not to take control, but to help you take the lead in your own life. I believe therapy works best when you feel empowered to make choices that align with your values and goals. My job is to provide guidance, perspective, and practical tools while creating a supportive environment where you can explore challenges openly. Together, we?ll work toward building confidence, clarity, and the resilience to move forward on your own terms
