My Approach to Helping
I have a Master’s Degree in School Psychology and a Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology. As a psychotherapist, I utilize an eclectic approach including the integration of mind and body wellness techniques. In most instances, I focus on an evidence-based approach such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy. I possess a soft spoken, empathetic, and caring nature. My desire is to help others find joy in their lives, appreciate their uniqueness, in addition to reaching other goals in a safe, nonjudgmental, and trusting environment. For 30 years, my efforts were spent helping children and families in the educational environment. I have experience dealing with children diagnosed with emotional and educational disabilities. I have a sensitivity and experience with cultural issues, diversity, women’s empowerment, and the effects of aging.
Most people hope to live a healthy, happy, and fulfilling life. I would love the opportunity to help you achieve this.
