My Approach to Helping
I believe most of our discomfort comes from conflict within ourself. We try to live our life based on the way we were conditioned to live it. This conditioning comes from our upbringing, society and culture. We then act out what we "think" based on our learned experiences. My focus is on helping you manage the many thoughts that arise and be able to gain a deeper understanding of what is behind those thoughts. The goal is to think more clearly, make easier choices, and feel in control as you move through the world. I have 30 years of experience watching many change their lives for the better. My style is supportive, warm, authentic, and free of judgment.
I work well with clients experiencing chronic discontent, anxiety, difficulties with their relationship with food and body, self-love, and building foundations such as boundary setting, assertive communication skills, and coping skills.
