My Approach to Helping
Emotional suffering hurts. Are you tired of worrying about yourself or your family? Have the self-help books and friendly advice you've tried failed? I'd like to help.
Therapy is healing conversation meant to help you better understand yourself, your emotional patterns, and how your behavior affects your important relationships. I work from a family systems perspective, always remembering that even though we may be individuals, we're in constant relationship to other people. It's in these relationships that we often find our greatest joy and our most stubborn pain.
I see Minnesota clients in person, as well as by video. I see Indiana and out-state Minnesota clients by video who want to better understand their families of origin issues (6-10 sessions).
