What's My Approach to Therapy?
Living with pain—whether from an injury, a chronic condition, or the stress of pushing yourself in sports or daily life—can feel exhausting and discouraging. It’s not just physical; it can take a toll on your mood, motivation, and sense of control. When you’ve tried to push through on your own but still feel stuck, therapy can offer a different path forward.
In our work together, we’ll take a close look at how pain, injury, or overwhelm are showing up in your life and begin building strategies that actually fit you. Sometimes that means finding new ways to manage the stress and uncertainty that come with chronic pain. Other times, it’s about supporting your recovery, strengthening your mindset, or learning tools to regain a sense of confidence and balance.
I draw from a flexible mix of approaches—including acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and person-centered therapy—to meet you where you are. My goal is to create a space where you feel respected, understood, and supported, while also providing practical skills that help you move forward in meaningful ways.
If pain, injury, or stress are getting in the way of the life you want, you don’t have to navigate it alone. I’d be glad to help you take the next step toward relief and lasting change.
