My Approach to Helping
OCD, Addiction, Depression, and Anxiety for teens and individuals
Are you struggling day to day and do not understand why?
Do you continue to fill the voids in your life by trying to get a "quick" fix?
Do people tell you that you should make changes in your life?
Do you struggle with obsessions and compulsions in your day to day?
Do you find it hard to trust others, but really want to?
Are you tired of using or drinking to cope?
Do you want more freedom in your life?
Do you want to learn to challenge your intrusive thoughts or behaviors?
Do you want to achieve more?
Do you have anxiety that seems to come out of nowhere?
Do you beat yourself down before you have a chance to try?
Maybe these questions apply to your teen?
If you answered yes to these questions, we can help. Here, we believe that people lose focus on their goals, desires, and dreams. Sometimes, our brain and biology work against us when we try to focus in on goals. I believe in providing clients with usable tools and strategies to use throughout their day to combat negative feelings, negative emotions, addictive compulsive negative behaviors, and to help you focus on what's important. Sometimes everyone loses track of direction and things become fuzzy or unclear, especially after breakups, loss of a job, loss of a family member, or loss of control. Finding focus helps each person be more mindful of their everyday experience and their connection with those around them while taking into account the barriers, cultural implications, and struggles. These changes arise from a focus on you and combating your thoughts, feelings, and physical sensations.
