My Approach to Helping
I have extensive experience working with individuals and couples who are dealing with mental health issues, communication difficulties, infidelity, family related distress, separation, divorce, and relationships issues. My purpose is to give support, understanding, and help clients improve their communication, encourage healthy coping behaviors and reduce the pain and discomfort that brought them into counseling, so they can continue on their personal path of growth.

In my practice, I work with people from all walks of life. I enjoy working with people from different racial, economic, sexual, religious and gender backgrounds. Everyone has a right to be heard and understood. I am passionate about helping people relieve the stress and discomfort they are living with, so they can lead more full and abundant lives.
I also work with individuals, couples, and families who have experienced trauma in their lives or who are going through life transitions such as ending a long term relationship, changing careers, academic pressures, or going through an unforeseen life or family crisis. I enjoy helping people discover themselves and uncover new plans, hopes, and dreams.

Therapy allows people to give words to their hurt, frustration, and anger in an environment that is safe and non-threatening. Therapy also gives people different paths to healing, forgiving, and letting go of shame and guilt.
