My Approach to Helping
Welcome. I'm here to help and support you in your journey to feeling better.
Life can be difficult at times and counseling can give you the tools to meet life’s challenges.
I offer a safe space to explore life transitions, feelings of depression or anxiety, low self-esteem, griefloss issues, unmet needs, relationship struggles, midlife issues, caregiver stress, and other life challenges. I can help you develop the skills and strategies to gain insight and awareness, cope with life stressors, increase feelings of self-worth, and enhance meaning in your life.
I use a variety of approaches to therapy depending upon each client’s unique personality and individual needs. At times, I may assign homework between sessions such as nature activities, art projects, journal writing, or other methods of self-reflection and expression.
We all need help at various times in our lives. Asking for help can be uncomfortable and intimidating. I applaud you for having the courage to take the first step. If you decide to work with me, I will be there supporting you on your journey of self-discovery.
