My Approach to Therapy

I help couples and individuals who feel lonely, overwhelmed, or stuck in painful cycles create healthier relationships, deeper connection, and lasting change. Together, we work to reduce conflict, improve communication, and rebuild emotional safety. My approach blends evidence-based methods with genuine, down-to-earth support so you can feel more connected to the people you love.

My Practice & Services

My goal is to provide a space that is compassionate and non-judgmental, where you can learn about yourself, promote self-growth and reduce suffering. Life can be so challenging that we need to do or try something different. Even something as uncomfortable as therapy. It's worth a try! I can't wait to meet you.

Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With

As a first-generation Mexican American and the first in my family to attend college, I understand the challenges of balancing different cultures, navigating family expectations, and finding your own path. Those experiences taught me resilience, empathy, and the importance of having support during life's transitions. While everyone's story is unique, I know what it's like to feel pressure to have it all figured out while carrying responsibilities that others may not see. These experiences continue to shape how I show up as a therapist—with curiosity, compassion, and respect for each person's journey. My goal is to provide an inclusive, affirming space where you can show up as your authentic self without fear of judgment, rejection, or shame. I am committed to creating a welcoming environment for individuals of all backgrounds, identities, and experiences, including members of the LGBTQIA+ community. Whether you're exploring identity, navigating relationships, facing life transitions, or working through anxiety, grief, or stress, therapy should be a place where you feel safe, respected, and understood. I believe healing happens when people feel accepted for who they are, and I am honored to walk alongside clients as they build greater confidence, connection, and well-being.

Groups I Work With

For over 25 years, I've helped adults and couples move through anxiety, grief, trauma, and major life transitions. I have a special passion for working with midlife couples feeling disconnected or stuck in recurring conflict, caregivers experiencing burnout, individuals navigating chronic or terminal illness, members of the LGBTQIA+ community, first-generation and immigrant families, and college students adjusting to new challenges and identities. My approach is steady, grounded, and practical. Helping people reconnect with themselves, strengthen their relationships, and finally breathe easier is what keeps me passionate about this work.
