My Approach to Therapy

Open the windows and let the light in. I firmly believe in one's ability to change and get more satisfaction, peace and joy out of life. The therapeutic relationship enables you to let go of destructive old patterns and negative behaviors so you can access the path to wellness. In my office you will find a non-judgmental, respectful therapy environment wherein change and motivation are the primary focus. Therapy needs to be a collaborative experience and you should feel like you are being heard and understood and that your issues are the ones being considered. Your strengths and skills need to be recognized and utilized. I've been in private practice for thirty years and have seen the benefits of change talk. I'd like you to feel that we are a good fit and so I offer a free initial consultation. I specialize in the treatment of depression, anxiety, health issues, substance abuse, and relationship issues.
