My Approach to Helping
Let me pour you a cup of tea, and lets talk. Maybe you are feeling stuck, depressed, stressed, or anxious. There are lots of things in life that can get in the way of allowing us to be the best versions of ourselves. I take pride in being able to offer others the perspective necessary to develop deep insights into behavior patterns to move towards meaningful growth. I believe that our emotions our best teachers, and I like to support my clients in developing the willingness to sit with and learn from difficult emotions.
Many people come into therapy because of painful experiences or external stressors, which can make them feel helpless, depleted, and overwhelmed. Part of my job is to help you see strengths within yourself that you might have lost sight of. I use an approach infused with mindfulness, acceptance, and insight that supports actionable change.
