My Approach to Helping
Sasha is currently a Resident in Counseling seeking to get her LPC. Sasha's 7 years of experience includes helping children and adolescents overcome trauma, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, family or peer issues, and other emotional and behavioral issues. Sasha believes once the root of the problem is discovered, we can process it and find positive strategies to heal! Sasha has completed her Master of Community Counseling at Argosy University. Sasha has spent the last 7 years working with women, children, and adolescents to provide guidance and support to those clients who are motivated to change. Sasha uses eclectic treatment approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, person-centered therapy, and narrative therapy. Everyone has a journey in life—a path of enlightenment. The point of doing therapy or counseling is for a therapist to help you find your way on that journey. Sasha will be there to help you on your journey, providing a nurturing and warm environment for you to discover your way. What that looks like is completely up to you and occurs in your own time!
