My Approach to Helping

Do you find yourself feeling frustrated repeating the same negative cycles? Or do you regularly engage in self-criticism, with thoughts like, “I'm not worthy"? Do you find that when things get difficult you automatically look for a way out or go into survival mode? Oftentimes, the negative experiences from our past show up in the present. There is a way to heal from the hurt, to gain clarity in your thoughts and feel the shift in your body. Wouldn’t it be nice to not only think something positive about yourself, but feel that it’s true as well?

You're not alone in this journey; I'm here with you. With my years of experience in trauma therapy, I possess the skills to help you understand and soothe the traumatized nervous system. I have extensive training in EMDR, which is a very effective form of trauma therapy. I am also trained in EFT, an attachment-based form of couples therapy.

Clients describe me as easy to talk to. They feel comfortable opening up and revealing their emotions during therapy sessions. My clients feel their emotions are validated, and they are appreciative when they find a sense of relief. Send me an email so we can schedule our first appointment.
