What's My Approach to Therapy?

Sara believes in creating a strong, healthy therapeutic relationship by creating a safe space for clients to express themselves freely and authentically as well as collaborate on ways to improve their quality of life. She does not believe that there is a one-cure-all solution and that each individual is unique and has their own journey. She believes in collaborating to find what will work best for the individual as well as building off of their strengths. She uses mindfulness techniques, motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and a holistic approach to help the client understand life challenges and discover healthy lifestyle improvements that can refine the quality of life for the client. Sara graduated from the University of Utah with a Master's of Social Work and works with all ages. Sara previously attended Utah Valley University and received a Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Science.
