What's My Approach to Therapy?

Feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or uncertain about the direction of your life? Your journey matters, and by working together, our team can help you uncover what is in the way of your happiness and help you find fulfillment in your life. We consider it a privilege to accompany you through your story of growth and change. The resilience of the human spirit and the intrinsic value of every human being are important. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, or simply feeling lost in the chaos of everyday life, we are here to provide guidance, support, and encouragement every step of the way. In therapy, we bring a warm, genuine, and compassionate approach to the work we do, and hope to make the process of finding a therapist easier.

My Practice & Services

Whether you’re seeking individual therapy or couples counseling, our dedicated team is here to support you every step of the way. We procide in person and Telehealth throughout Utah. Together, we can work through the difficulties you are experiencing. I use a holistic approach that combines family systems therapies, dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), lifespan integration, mindfulness, and empowerment principles. I have a special interest in women’s issues, including relationships, faith life transitions, trauma, and empowering women to reach their full potential.

Importance of the Client-Therapist Alliance

One of the most important parts of successful therapy isn?t a specific technique?it?s the relationship you build with your therapist. Research consistently shows that when clients feel safe, understood, and genuinely supported, they make deeper and more lasting progress. A strong therapeutic relationship creates a space where you can be honest about what you?re experiencing without fear of judgment. When you and your therapist share clear goals and work collaboratively, therapy becomes more focused, effective, and meaningful. Feeling connected and respected in the process isn?t just comforting?it?s a key ingredient in real change.
