My Approach to Helping

I want to ensure we work on an approach most applicable to you, therefore I don’t rely on one tool or one model of therapy. My method is to trickle in different areas of psychology simultaneously. If something isn’t working for you we implement another tactic. The goal is to get to the heart of what is distressing you; what is preventing you from living a life more in line with your values and desires. My experiences are in line with helping folks work through; trauma, anxiety, suicide, depression and conflict. Conflict in family’s and romantic relationships to be specific. While I’m open to working with an array of ages I am not currently equipped for pre-verbal work. This means I will be open and honest if I feel I can help or not. This is also why I offer longer free consultations (20-30 minutes) to get a better grasp of the situation and expectations to explain whether I feel I may be able to aid in your growth effectively.

I offer EMDR therapy as well as; DBT, CBT, TF-CBT, ACT, EFT, Shadow work and more.

My Role as a Therapist

My role as a therapist is to offer supports in the areas you want to see change. I am trained in an array of areas so that the therapeutic process can be flexible and applicable to you, not the other way around. You are to have autonomy over your therapeutic process and thus so if something doesn?t work for you we can switch gears. I hope to create an environment where you feel comfortable to share your points of view so you can feel empowered in your journey.
