My Approach to Helping
I believe that healing requires connection, trust, and safety. My number one goal in working with clients is to provide an environment where these three things can bloom. I believe that each person has their own unique story. My job isn't to tell you what your next chapter should be; rather, we work together to create a greater understanding of and meaning from your story. Then, you hold the power and wisdom to write your next chapter as our work unfolds.
I use a relational approach that integrates psychodynamic therapy, attachment, narrative therapy, and somatic practices. I have extensive training and experience in the field of eating issues. I am a certified eating condition specialist and approved consultant, certified parenting coach, and trained EMDR therapist.
