My Approach to Helping
Hi there. The focus of my practice is helping adults who are facing difficult transitions or other mental health challenges by using talk therapy. My unique background in art therapy (M.A. from New York University) influences my creative approach. I specialize in working with adults of all ages experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, relationship issues, addictions, ADHD, grief, job dissatisfaction and more. We will use a variety of approaches to help you gain skills and insight into what's going on.
I want to help you set goals and regulate emotions as you integrate your experiences into personal narratives that will uncover more positivity and meaning in your day-to-day life. In our sessions we will seek out the underlying causes of your distress in order to build resilience, foster growth and improve self-esteem.
I ultimately want you to be able to confront any issue with confidence and self-reliance, and I will work to do whatever it takes to get you there. Let's talk and see how my approach could work for you.
