My Approach to Helping
Sometimes "putting you back in the center" looks like a deeper dive into formative experiences, or looking together at the web of dynamics that create your day-to-day life, or dreaming into who you are becoming through life transitions - or all of these.
Depth and feminist psychotherapies start with the idea that people are more than their symptoms. Those symptoms are not “something wrong with you” but expressions of suffering, leftovers from ways of coping with oppression, or cues as to what various parts of you need now. I encourage you to read more about how I work on my website.

Had a Negative Therapy Experience?
I am especially sensitive to the fact that there are a lot of people out there who have experienced a whole spectrum of bad therapy, from just a poor fit to actually coercive or harmful. I encourage you to reach out, ask questions, share concerns - at any time in a therapeutic process, with any therapist - and trust that you and your needs are driving this process as much as possible, with strong boundaries in place to ethically support those needs.
